Are the watches pictured on your website the only watches you sell?
We sell the full line of every brand on our website, plus many brands that are not listed. If you don’t see what you are looking for, please call us.
How long does it take to ship?
We usually ship everything by UPS 2nd Day Air. Overnight shipping is available for an extra charge.
What types of payments do you accept?
In our store, we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, checks or cash. Phone and mail orders can be paid by personal check, cashier’s check, money order, bank wire or credit card check. You can pay in full by Visa, Mastercard or American Express on watches priced at $2,000 or less. Above $2,000, these cards can only be used for a deposit toward your purchase.
Do you have a retail store or are you just an internet company?
Yes. We have a real store in Rockville, Maryland, just north of Washington, D.C. We are a full-service, family-owned jewelry store, in business since 1985.
What is an “Authorized Dealer” or “Official Dealer”?
An authorized dealer buys its stock from just one brand, at a large discount. In return, the dealer must follow the brand’s pricing rules. So authorized dealers get a deep discount from the brand, but they usually give customers little or no discount.
Is Alan Furman & Co. an “Authorized Dealer”?
Alan Furman & Co. is not an “Authorized Dealer” for most of the brands we sell. We chose not to be one so that we can offer you the best value for your money.
If you’re not buying directly from the manufacturer, how do you get your merchandise?
We buy all of our products from other jewelry stores, authorized dealers and trusted wholesalers.
Do your watches come with serial numbers?
Yes. Every watch we sell comes with all its boxes, warranty papers, manuals and serial numbers.
Are Alan Furman & Co.’s products new?
Every new watch we sell is factory fresh, a current model and in perfect working order. Each one comes with all its boxes, tags, warranty papers, manuals and serial numbers. We also sell certified pre-owned watches on a separate page of our website.
Do your products come with a warranty?
We honor the full manufacturer’s warranty on everything we sell. Every purchase also comes with an Alan Furman & Co. warranty certificate.
Do I get the manufacturer’s warranty?
We are not an authorized dealer for many of the brands we sell, so the brand may or may not honor its original warranty. Alan Furman & Co. always will. We honor the full manufacturer’s warranty and repair your product at no cost to you during the warranty period.
