This is the Riviera that earns its keep on the movement rather than the dial. The Baumatic BM13-1975A is Baume & Mercier's own calibre and it runs for five days off a full wind, which puts it well beyond the two-day norm and means a watch set down on Friday is still running on Monday. The dial is a warm gilded champagne with a vertical brushed finish rather than the collection's usual waves motif, and the gilded indexes are riveted onto it. A single blue seconds hand crosses the whole dial, its counterweight cut into the Phi logo, and the crown carries a matching blue accent. The 39mm dodecagonal case keeps the four bezel screws and the octagonal crown that define the line.
