The black bevel is what separates this Riviera from every other white-dialled watch in the collection. It rings the dial as a hard graphic border, picks up the black seconds hand crossing the centre, and turns what would be a quiet summer watch into something with real contrast. At 42mm this is the largest of the current Riviera three-hand models, and the extra diameter gives the waves decor room to be seen properly rather than crowded by the indexes. Those indexes and the Roman numerals are riveted and filled with white Superluminova, and the faceted rhodium-plated hands are treated to match. The seconds hand counterweight is cut into the Phi logo. Four screws hold the twelve-sided bezel, and the bracelet detaches without tools.
