Tubogas is a goldsmithing technique borrowed from industry — metal wound in a continuous ribbon around a core, then the core removed, so the band flexes without a single link or hinge. Bulgari has used it since the 1940s and it is why a Serpenti coils around the wrist rather than fastening to it. In solid rose gold, wound twice, with a diamond-set bezel and a black dial. The crown carries a cabochon-cut pink rubellite, which is Bulgari's signature on almost every watch it makes.
