Between the mini and the large sits the small model, a 30.3mm by 22.0mm steel Panthère that gains what the mini gives up: a railway minute track ringing the centre of the silvered dial, with the black Roman numerals pushed out to the perimeter. That single detail changes the dial's proportions and is the quickest way to tell the two smaller steel references apart in a photograph. Everything else is the Panthère as it was drawn in the 1980s — a squared case with rounded corners, exposed screws on the bezel, and a crown set with a blue synthetic spinel. The five-column steel bracelet is the collection's signature, hinged tightly enough to move like fabric. Quartz movement, water-resistant to 30 metres. This is the size most people picture when they picture a Panthère, and the one that suits the widest range of wrists.
