On the steel bracelet the plain-bezel Lady Serenade becomes the most wearable watch in the family - the one that can be put on in the morning without a thought about what it is being worn with. The bracelet's links are broad and polished with a soft cushion to each one, so the metal picks up light in the same way the domed silver dial does and the watch reads as a single continuous object from clasp to bezel. That continuity is the argument for a bracelet over a strap here. The onyx cabochon in the crown remains the only dark accent. Applied rhodium-plated indexes, Roman numerals at twelve, three and nine, and a small date at six complete a dial that is unhurried, and the automatic Calibre 39-22 is visible through a sapphire back.
