This is the fullest expression of the steel Lady Serenade: a mother-of-pearl dial, 52 brilliant-cut diamonds around the bezel, a diamond in the crown, and a polished steel bracelet carrying all of it. What keeps it from tipping into excess is that every bright element behaves differently - the bracelet reflects in broad sheets, the diamonds in points, and the shell dial in a slow iridescent wash that changes colour rather than intensity. The markers stay plain for the same reason. At 36mm the case is modest enough that the decoration reads as detail rather than statement. Behind the sapphire case back is the automatic Calibre 39-22 with a swan-neck fine adjustment, and the small date sits quietly at six o'clock.
