One hundred and forty-eight diamonds, 0.60 carat, set in a double row around the bezel and again as a frame on the silver-white sunray dial. It is the same 31mm steel case as the plain-bezel Madison Mid, transformed: the stones wrap the rectangle completely, so the outline of the watch catches light from every angle rather than only from the dial. Roman numerals in polished steel sit between the two bands, with a date at six. All steel rather than two-tone, which keeps it cooler than the gold-plated references and lets the diamonds do the whole job. The steel bracelet takes any 16mm Michele strap. Swiss quartz three-hand movement, sapphire crystal. Set against the plain-bezel Madison Mid, the difference is not subtlety but scale: the same case and the same dial, carrying roughly four times the diamond weight and reading as a far more formal watch for it.
