About this product
Reference 5740-1G-001, Nautilus. Gérald Genta drew the Nautilus in 1976 after the Royal Oak, and the story is that he sketched it over lunch at Basel. The case is built like a ship's porthole — a monobloc middle with the bezel clamped down by two lateral hinges rather than screws through the front — and the horizontally embossed dial has been the model's signature ever since. Patek makes very few of them, which is most of the reason they are difficult to buy. This is reference 5740-1G-001.
This watch comes with the manufacturer's warranty card, backed up by our own Alan Furman & Co warranty.
