This Rolex 1908 pairs an intense white dial with a 39mm case and fluted bezel in 18 ct yellow gold, worn on a matte black alligator leather strap with a double folding Dualclasp. Slim, with curved lugs, the case holds a dial that places its small seconds at 6 o'clock. Through the transparent sapphire case back, the self-winding calibre 7140 reveals Côtes de Genève movement decoration and an oscillating weight of openwork yellow gold. It has a Chronergy escapement, a Syloxi hairspring in silicon and approximately 66 hours of power reserve, and it is officially certified as a Superlative Chronometer. Scratch-resistant sapphire covers the front as well, and the case resists water to 50 meters, or 165 feet. White dial, yellow gold and black leather give the Rolex 1908 a clean, formal balance.
