Diamonds set into a black dial, steel-colour counters, black ceramic bezel and a black rubber strap over a white gold case — the stones are the only visible clue that this is a precious metal watch at all. That contradiction is the appeal: everything else about the reference reads as the steel Daytona, and the twelve brilliants at the hour positions are doing all the talking. Oysterflex keeps it sporting rather than formal, elastomer over a flexible metal blade with a white gold Oysterlock clasp. Calibre 4131 sits inside with about seventy-two hours, sealed to 100 metres.
