About this product
Black mother-of-pearl with white mother-of-pearl counters gives this white gold Daytona the reverse-panda layout, worked in natural shell rather than lacquer. Nacre is cut from the inside of a shell, so the dark field shifts through green and rose as the watch moves, and no two dials carry the same pattern. Eight diamonds in 18 ct gold settings serve as the hour markers, and the bezel holds thirty-six brilliant-cut diamonds, 3.26 carats together, in place of the tachymetric scale. The lugs are left plain, keeping the stones to the bezel and dial, and the case and Oyster bracelet are both 18 ct white gold, fastened by an Oysterlock clasp with the Easylink comfort link. Inside, calibre 4131 keeps running for around three days on a full wind, and the case is rated waterproof to 100 metres.
