About this product
White mother-of-pearl with dark mother-of-pearl counters is the panda layout collectors know from the steel Daytona, rendered here in shell and white gold. The pale field has a soft iridescence that shifts with the light, while the three counters take the darker nacre, so the chronograph registers stand out without any painted contrast. The hour markers are eight diamonds set in 18 ct gold, and the bezel is ringed with 36 brilliant-cut stones totalling 3.26 carats, where the tachymetric scale would normally sit. Where the black-dial version comes on a gold bracelet, this one wears the black Oysterflex strap, elastomer over flexible metal blades, fastened by an Oysterlock clasp with Glidelock extension. Calibre 4131 powers it for about seventy-two hours, while a Triplock crown and screw-down pushers seal the case to 100 metres.
