Silver sunray in 31mm steel reads almost as an extension of the case — brushed grooves running outward from the centre catch light the same way the polished bezel does, so dial and metal move together. Under a domed bezel on the flat Oyster bracelet, it is the most self-effacing Datejust 31 in the catalogue. Calibre 2236 inside, roughly fifty-five hours of reserve, Syloxi silicon hairspring, Paraflex shock absorbers, waterproof to 100 metres.
