This Oystersteel Rolex Datejust 36 leans toward dress wear, combining the Jubilee bracelet and a domed bezel with a white dial and Roman numerals. Few grounds are plainer than white, and the Roman numerals give it a traditional, almost architectural rhythm. Fine links on the Jubilee flex closely around the wrist and lend the steel a soft shimmer. Under the sapphire crystal, the Cyclops lens magnifies the date at 3 o'clock, which jumps instantaneously. The Oyster case combines a monobloc middle, a screw-down back and a Twinlock crown, and resists water to a depth of 100 meters. Inside is calibre 3235, a perpetual self-winding movement with about 70 hours of power reserve. Kept in a single metal throughout, this Rolex Datejust 36 leaves the white dial to set the tone.
