Two diamond-set numerals, the VI and the IX, light up a slate dial on this Rolex Datejust 36, an Everose Rolesor watch with a domed Everose gold bezel and the Jubilee bracelet. Those two numerals are made in 18 kt gold and hold 24 diamonds, while the rest of the dial keeps plain Roman numerals. Slate is a cool, dark gray that acts as a counterweight to the warmth of Everose gold, so neither dial nor metal takes over. On this Rolex Datejust 36, the Jubilee's intricate links add one more layer of detail to an already dressy watch. Paraflex shock absorbers guard calibre 3235 against knocks, its blue Parachrom hairspring is paramagnetic, and it runs for about 70 hours. Placing diamonds at just two positions keeps the gem setting restrained.
