Brown and rose gold make a rich, warm pairing on this Rolex Datejust 36, whose chocolate dial carries diamond hour markers in 18 kt gold settings, with an Everose Rolesor case, a domed Everose gold bezel and the Jubilee bracelet. The deep brown sits close in tone to the gold, so the diamonds supply the brightness as they mark the hours around the dial. The Jubilee adds texture with fine links of Oystersteel and Everose gold, closing with an Oysterclasp. Built around a Chronergy escapement, the self-winding calibre 3235 is a Superlative Chronometer, while the case, closed by a screw-down Twinlock crown, is water resistant to 100 meters. With diamonds doing the work that numerals do on other dials, this Rolex Datejust 36 is at its best after dark.
