Diamond-set VI and IX bring sparkle to this Rolex Datejust 36 and its silver dial with Roman numerals, while Yellow Rolesor supplies the case, the domed yellow gold bezel and the Jubilee bracelet. The two numerals are 18 kt gold set with 24 stones in all, glinting against the pale, metallic silver. Silver is a neutral, cool ground, which lets both the gold and the diamonds stand out. On the Jubilee, small links of steel and gold catch the light with every turn of the wrist. The instantaneous date sits under the Cyclops lens at 3 o'clock, calibre 3235 provides about 70 hours of power, and the case is water resistant to 100 meters.
