Without any gem setting, this Rolex Datejust 36 lets an olive green dial with Roman numerals carry the design, in Yellow Rolesor with a domed yellow gold bezel and the Jubilee bracelet. Olive is a softened, yellow-leaning green, so it settles comfortably beside yellow gold. The numerals are all plain, which keeps the dial calm and easy to read at a glance. Dressier by nature, the Jubilee bracelet adds small, closely spaced links in Oystersteel and yellow gold. Over the dial sits a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, the Twinlock crown screws down, and calibre 3235 relies on a Chronergy escapement. The movement winds itself, with a reserve of about 70 hours. Plain numerals on the more ornate of the two bracelets are what balance this Rolex Datejust 36.
