Black is the strongest backdrop gold can have, and the bezel and bracelet look richer against it than they would beside a pale dial. With Roman numerals, the dial takes on a formal, evening character, and the Jubilee's fine links bring movement and light. Calibre 3235, a Superlative Chronometer, is certified to gain or lose no more than two seconds daily once in its case, and a Cyclops lens magnifies the 3 o'clock date.
