A slate dial with Roman numerals, its VI and IX picked out in diamonds, gives this Rolex Datejust 36 its character, joined by a fluted Everose gold bezel, an Everose Rolesor case and the Oyster bracelet. The dial's dark, stony tone is a cool counterpoint to rose gold. Both diamond numerals are 18 kt gold, sharing 24 diamonds, and with the date window at 3 o'clock opposite the IX they give the dial a quiet balance. The Oyster bracelet keeps the look understated, leaving the dial and its diamonds to hold the eye, and closes with a folding Oysterclasp and 5mm Easylink extension. Self-winding calibre 3235 brings about 70 hours of reserve, a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring and Paraflex shock absorbers. This Rolex Datejust 36 also has a screw-down Twinlock crown on a monobloc middle case, and its water resistance is 100 meters.
