Here the Rolex Datejust 36 comes in Yellow Rolesor on the Oyster bracelet, its white dial and Roman numerals framed by a bezel of fluted yellow gold. That white sets off the gold cleanly, with nothing else in the palette asking for attention, and the magnified date stands out on so bright a field. The Oyster bracelet has wide, flat links that give the two-tone watch a sturdier, more sporting character, and it fastens with an Oysterclasp and Easylink, which adds 5mm. The case combines Oystersteel and 18 ct yellow gold, and with a monobloc middle case, a screw-down case back and a Twinlock winding crown it is water resistant to 100 meters. Inside, this Rolex Datejust 36 carries calibre 3235, perpetual self-winding and certified as a Superlative Chronometer, its power reserve roughly 70 hours.
