This Rolex Datejust 36 puts Roman numerals on an olive green dial, rings it with a fluted yellow gold bezel and sets the whole in Yellow Rolesor on a Jubilee bracelet. Olive green has a soft, smoky depth that the yellow gold warms without overpowering. The Roman numerals give the green its structure and a slightly formal air. The Jubilee bracelet brings a dressier, more fluid finish, closing on an Oysterclasp with a 5mm Easylink extension. Inside is calibre 3235, a self-winding Superlative Chronometer with a blue Parachrom hairspring and a Chronergy escapement, storing roughly 70 hours of power. The instantaneous date at 3 o'clock sits beneath a Cyclops lens on the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and this Rolex Datejust 36 is rated water resistant to 330 feet, or 100 meters.
