In White Rolesor on the Jubilee bracelet, this Rolex Datejust 36 sets an aubergine dial beneath a fluted white gold bezel, its Roman numerals including a VI and IX set with diamonds. Aubergine is a deep purple with a hint of red, and against cool white metal it looks richer still. Worked in 18 kt gold, the two numerals hold 24 diamonds whose sparkle stands out on the dark ground. The Jubilee's shimmer complements the diamonds and keeps the mood dressy, and it is secured by an Oysterclasp with Easylink, adding 5mm when wanted. Calibre 3235 winds itself, keeps about 70 hours in reserve and carries Superlative Chronometer certification, with its cased rate kept within two seconds a day either side. The Cyclops lens at three o'clock enlarges a date that changes instantaneously, and this Rolex Datejust 36 is rated to 100 meters of water resistance.
