An aubergine dial carrying Roman numerals, with the VI and IX diamond-set, distinguishes this Rolex Datejust 36 in White Rolesor, which pairs a fluted white gold bezel with the Oyster bracelet. Aubergine is a dark, wine-toned purple, and the white metal around it keeps the effect cool rather than lush. Rolex sets 24 diamonds into the two numerals, both 18 kt gold, giving the dial two points of brilliance. On the Oyster bracelet, the watch wears the color more casually, so it suits the day as well as the evening. An Oysterclasp with an Easylink extension of 5mm closes it. Calibre 3235 beats inside, a self-winding movement that Rolex certifies as a Superlative Chronometer, fitted with a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring and holding roughly 70 hours of reserve. Its monobloc middle case and Twinlock crown keep this Rolex Datejust 36 water resistant to 100 meters.
