A dark grey dial with diamonds on its Roman VI and IX lends this Rolex Datejust 36 in White Rolesor a quiet, modern look, framed in fluted white gold at the bezel and fitted to the Oyster bracelet. Dark grey is a restrained, cool shade, and it gives the 24 diamonds across the 18 kt gold VI and IX a clean backdrop. The Oyster bracelet matches that reserve, keeping this Rolex Datejust 36 understated, and closes on an Oysterclasp with Easylink, for 5mm more room. Inside is calibre 3235: self-winding, a certified Superlative Chronometer, about 70 hours of reserve, its hairspring a paramagnetic blue Parachrom. Beneath the Cyclops lens the date jumps instantaneously, and the screw-down back and Twinlock crown of the Oyster case hold its water resistance to 100 meters.
