The chocolate dial of this Rolex Datejust 36 carries diamond-set hour markers, enclosed by a diamond-set Everose gold bezel and paired with an Oyster bracelet in Everose Rolesor. The dark brown ground gives the stones strong contrast, and the markers, diamonds in 18 kt gold settings, form a ring of small bright points inside the larger ring of the bezel. On the Oyster bracelet, broad links present the warm metal as a solid, continuous surface, giving the watch a more relaxed character than all those diamonds might suggest. Calibre 3235 inside is a Superlative Chronometer with the Chronergy escapement and a reserve of approximately 70 hours. The Twinlock crown screws down for water resistance to 100 meters, and the folding Oysterclasp on this Rolex Datejust 36 has an Easylink extension that adds 5 mm.
