The slate dial and diamond-set yellow gold bezel on the Oyster bracelet — cool grey against warm gold, on a flat three-link band. Slate is the most restrained dial in this reference: it takes the ornament of a diamond bezel and grounds it, so the watch reads as considered rather than showy. The 36mm case is Yellow Rolesor, Oystersteel with 18 ct yellow gold. Calibre 3235, roughly seventy hours of reserve, blue Parachrom hairspring, Paraflex shock absorbers. Date at three under the Cyclops lens, water resistant to 100 metres.
