This Rolex Datejust 36 keeps its diamonds to the bezel: an olive green dial with Roman numerals sits within a diamond-set yellow gold bezel, and the bracelet is a Jubilee in Yellow Rolesor. Without gem-set numerals the dial is calmer, and the olive green comes through as a deep, mossy color that suits the warmth of yellow gold. The Roman numerals lend structure and a slightly formal tone, while the Jubilee's small links bring flexibility and a gentle sparkle along the wrist. The 36mm Oyster case is made of Oystersteel and 18 ct yellow gold, with a Twinlock crown that screws down. Inside the Rolex Datejust 36, self-winding calibre 3235 offers approximately 70 hours of reserve and is protected by Paraflex shock absorbers, and the Cyclops lens over 3 o'clock makes the date easy to read.
