Slate sits between the silver and the black in this reference — a cool mid-grey with a sunray finish that reads darker or lighter depending on the light, and never quite settles. Against a diamond-set white gold bezel it is the most understated way to wear a diamond Datejust. Applied index markers only. The 36mm White Rolesor case is Oystersteel with 18 ct white gold, on the five-link Jubilee bracelet. Calibre 3235 inside, seventy hours of reserve, certified to −2/+2 seconds a day after casing.
