This Rolex Datejust 36 is dressed in aubergine, a deep purple: the dial has Roman numerals and diamond-set VI and IX, the bezel is diamond-set white gold, and the Jubilee bracelet is White Rolesor. The purple is rich and slightly smoky, and white gold keeps the palette cool around it. The VI and IX stand out in 18 kt gold, with 24 diamonds set across the pair, so the dial has its own small display of light that answers the bezel's stones. The Jubilee bracelet lends a softer, more decorative finish, its fine links moving fluidly on the wrist. Within the 36mm Oyster case of Oystersteel and white gold, calibre 3235 uses the Chronergy escapement and a blue Parachrom hairspring. The Rolex Datejust 36 is watertight to 100 meters.
