This Rolex Datejust 36 takes its mood from an aubergine dial with Roman numerals and diamond-set VI and IX, joined by a diamond-set white gold bezel and an Oyster bracelet in White Rolesor. Aubergine is a dark purple that can look almost black in dim light and shows its plum tones in daylight. A total of 24 diamonds dresses the VI and IX, which are made in 18 kt gold, and they shine clearly against that depth of color. With the Oyster bracelet, the watch takes on a more contemporary, understated profile, the broad links of White Rolesor giving it a sleek finish. Calibre 3235 is a Superlative Chronometer, allowed a deviation of no more than two seconds a day, gaining or losing, after casing. An Easylink comfort extension, built into the Oysterclasp, can lengthen the bracelet of this Rolex Datejust 36 by 5 mm.
