This is the Rolex Datejust 36 with a silver dial, its Roman numerals including diamond-set VI and IX, plus a diamond-set white gold bezel and an Oyster bracelet in White Rolesor. Silver keeps the face light and quiet, so the diamonds reveal themselves gradually, glinting as the watch turns rather than announcing themselves from across a room. In all, 24 diamonds are set into the VI and IX, two numerals made of 18 kt gold. The Oyster bracelet gives the configuration a crisper outline, with flat links that sit close to the wrist. Paraflex shock absorbers guard calibre 3235, which beats through a Chronergy escapement and keeps about 70 hours of power in store. The bracelet closes with a folding Oysterclasp, and Easylink can add 5 mm when the Rolex Datejust 36 needs a looser fit.
