White in 41mm steel is starker than silver: a glossy lacquer dial with no sunray movement, which makes the applied markers and hands the only things happening on it. Under a smooth steel bezel and on the Oyster bracelet, it is about as plain as a modern Datejust gets, and deliberately so. Calibre 3235 inside runs roughly seventy hours with a Chronergy escapement that improves efficiency by around fifteen per cent over the previous design. Date at three with the Cyclops, water resistant to 100 metres.
