This Rolex Datejust 41 puts a smooth Everose gold bezel around a mint green dial marked in Roman numerals, in an Everose Rolesor case on the Jubilee bracelet. The Jubilee's fine links mix Oystersteel with Everose gold in small steps, so a thread of warmth runs from case to clasp. Mint needs that kind of partner. Soft and pale, it gains presence beside the rosy tone of Everose and reads fresh and clear. A plain bezel means nothing competes with the dial. Roman numerals give the face a little ceremony without crowding it. Inside, calibre 3235 teams a Chronergy escapement with Paraflex shock absorbers, winding itself with the motion of the wrist. Easylink lets the Oysterclasp open out by 5mm for comfort, and the case of this Rolex Datejust 41 is sealed against water to 330 feet.
