An olive green dial bearing Roman numerals sits under a smooth yellow gold bezel on this Rolex Datejust 41, with case and Jubilee bracelet in Yellow Rolesor. The Jubilee spreads yellow gold through many small links, giving the watch more sparkle than its smooth bezel alone would suggest. Olive green is the steadying influence. Deep and quiet, it soaks up some of that brightness and keeps the gold from overwhelming the face. Roman numerals sit comfortably on a dial with this much warmth and add a slightly classical air. Calibre 3235 is fitted with a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring, and the cased watch must stay within a daily tolerance of two seconds. This Rolex Datejust 41 closes with an Oysterclasp whose Easylink extension adds 5mm, and the date at 3 o'clock is easy to read through the Cyclops lens.
