On reference 126333-0023, a Rolex Datejust 41 in Yellow Rolesor with the Oyster bracelet, an olive green dial carrying Roman numerals sits inside a fluted yellow gold bezel. The fluting scatters bright highlights around a dial that stays deep and subdued, a contrast of texture as much as color. Steel and 18 ct yellow gold share the case and bracelet, so the two-tone effect carries from the bezel to the clasp. On the Oyster bracelet, with its wide, flat links, the watch takes a sturdier stance than the fluted bezel alone suggests. Roman numerals lend the olive a dignified face.
