This Rolex Datejust 41 sets an olive green dial and Roman numerals beneath a fluted yellow gold bezel, with the case and Jubilee bracelet made in Yellow Rolesor. Olive changes how the gold reads. Against this earthy green, yellow gold looks mellow rather than bright, even with ridged gold at the bezel and the Jubilee's many small links catching the light. Roman numerals complete a look that is unashamedly dressy, yet the olive keeps it grounded. Inside, calibre 3235 is protected by Paraflex shock absorbers and governed by a Chronergy escapement, while the date at 3 o'clock jumps instantaneously under the Cyclops lens. As a Superlative Chronometer, it is certified to keep its rate inside a two-second daily window after casing. An Easylink extension in the Oysterclasp adds 5mm when the Rolex Datejust 41 needs a little more room.
