Reference 128235-0009. 36mm in 18 ct Everose gold: a rosé-colour dial with diamond hour markers, a fluted Everose gold bezel and the President bracelet. Rosé is Rolex’s name for this pale pink tone, a shade away from the Everose case around it, so the dial and metal agree without matching. Thirty-six millimetres is the size the Day-Date has been built around since 1956, when it became the first wristwatch to spell the day of the week out in full. In Everose gold, the fluted bezel is machined into the solid case rather than applied to it. It is worn on the President bracelet, made only for this model and for the Day-Date’s closest relations, with a concealed Crownclasp. Calibre 3255 sits inside with about seventy hours in reserve.
