A dial of white mother-of-pearl set with diamonds defines this Rolex Day-Date 36 in 18 ct Everose gold, with ten baguette-cut diamonds as hour markers beneath a fluted Everose bezel. Nacre gives the white a soft, shifting luster, while the baguettes add a sharper sparkle over it. Everose lends the frame a rosy warmth, and the President bracelet carries that gold from the case to the clasp. At 12 o’clock the dial spells out the day of the week in full, in a window of its own. At 3 o’clock, the date is magnified by a Cyclops lens. The Rolex Day-Date 36 runs on calibre 3255 and carries Superlative Chronometer certification, with around 70 hours of reserve. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the dial, and a concealed Crownclasp folds away beneath the bracelet.
