On this Rolex Day-Date 36, a silver dial with ten baguette-cut diamonds in place of hour markers sits within a fluted bezel, and the 18 ct Everose gold of the case runs on into the President bracelet. With the bezel fluted, every diamond sits on the dial, where each slim, rectangular stone stands out against the pale silver. Silver is a cool, neutral color, and beside Everose it looks almost icy, which in turn makes the pink gold seem warmer. Calibre 3255 is guarded by Paraflex shock absorbers, and its blue Parachrom hairspring is paramagnetic, so magnetic fields have little effect on it. A window at 12 names the day in full, while the date at 3 switches over instantly. The President bracelet closes on a concealed Crownclasp, so the Everose of this Rolex Day-Date 36 runs in one continuous sweep around the wrist.
