The Oyster case joins a monobloc middle case to a screw-down case back and resists water to 100 meters. Calibre 3255 winds the Rolex Day-Date 36 as the wrist moves and runs for about 70 hours once set down. Paraflex shock absorbers guard the movement against knocks.
