About this product
This Rolex Day-Date 36 is built from three pale materials: a white mother-of-pearl dial, ten baguette-cut diamonds at its hours, and 950 platinum for the case, the fluted bezel and the President bracelet. Nacre is the inner lining of a shell, so the shimmer across each dial, with the faint rainbow tints inside it, belongs to that piece and no other. The baguettes bring a sharper, linear light to that soft glow, and the fluted platinum surrounds both with fine ridges. Under the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, the day is named at the top and the date shown at 3. Calibre 3255 winds itself from the motion of the wrist and holds about 70 hours in reserve. A concealed Crownclasp completes the platinum bracelet, and the Rolex Day-Date 36 stays in a narrow range of whites from bezel to clasp.
