A fluted yellow gold bezel and the President bracelet around a white dial with applied index markers. 36mm in 18 ct yellow gold. A white dial is the most legible option in the range, which matters on a watch carrying the weekday spelled out in full at twelve as well as the date at three. Thirty-six millimetres is the size the Day-Date has been built around since 1956, when it became the first wristwatch to spell the day of the week out in full. In yellow gold, the fluted bezel is machined into the solid case rather than applied to it. It is worn on the President bracelet, made only for this model and for the Day-Date’s closest relations, with a concealed Crownclasp. Calibre 3255 sits inside with about seventy hours in reserve.
