The dial of this 18 ct yellow gold Rolex Day-Date 36 is bright green with ten baguette-cut diamonds as hour markers, and the gold continues into a fluted bezel and a President bracelet. The green is vivid and saturated, and against it each diamond reads as a hard, white accent. Yellow gold strengthens the effect, since warm metal and strong green set each other off, and the fluted bezel adds texture rather than more stones, keeping the attention on the dial. Calibre 3255 is a perpetual, self-winding movement cushioned by Paraflex shock absorbers, with a power reserve of about 70 hours. Its calendar shows the day as a full word across the top and puts the date under the Cyclops lens at 3. Out of sight under the bracelet, a concealed Crownclasp finishes this Rolex Day-Date 36 without interrupting the gold.
