This Rolex Day-Date 36 has a diamond-set bezel and center links set with diamonds on its 18 ct Everose gold President bracelet, and its brown ombré dial carries Roman numerals. The dial holds no stones, so the gems frame it rather than crowd it. Its ombré shading runs from a lighter brown in the middle to a deep, dark brown at the rim, a depth that sits well with the pink of Everose. Roman numerals keep the face orderly amid so much sparkle, and the weekday and date stay easy to read in their windows at 12 and 3. Behind the dial, calibre 3255 has a Chronergy escapement and Paraflex shock absorbers and runs about 70 hours unworn. The concealed Crownclasp folds away beneath the wrist, and from above the Rolex Day-Date 36 shows a bracelet of gold and diamonds with no clasp in view.
