The dial of this Rolex Day-Date 36 is white mother-of-pearl set with diamonds, and the 18 ct Everose gold watch adds a diamond-set bezel and a President bracelet with diamond-set center links. That puts stones in three places. Ten baguette-cut diamonds act as the hour markers, while more circle the bezel and run down the bracelet. The nacre beneath them has an iridescence of its own, so the dial glows softly even between the stones. Everose surrounds the pale shell with a soft pink frame. A self-winding calibre 3255 keeps the watch running for roughly 70 hours off the wrist. At 12 o’clock the day appears by name, and a magnifying Cyclops lens covers the date at 3. A concealed Crownclasp keeps the fastening of the Rolex Day-Date 36 out of view.
