Olive is a soft, muted green, so the bright ring of diamonds around it shows all the more. With no stones on the bracelet, the bezel carries all the sparkle, and the warm Everose suits the green. A self-winding calibre 3255 powers it, with a reserve that lasts about 70 hours. Its winding crown is a screw-down Twinlock, and the Oyster case carries water resistance to 330 feet. The full name of the day sits at 12 o’clock, with the date to the right at 3. Closed, the Crownclasp tucks away so neatly that the Rolex Day-Date 36 seems to have no clasp at all.
