Reference 128348RBR-0019. A white Mother-of-Pearl dial with diamond hour markers, under a diamond-set bezel and the President bracelet. 36mm in 18 ct yellow gold. Mother-of-pearl is cut from shell, so no two dials are alike and none can be matched — the iridescence shifts with every movement of the wrist. Thirty-six millimetres is the size the Day-Date has been built around since 1956, when it became the first wristwatch to spell the day of the week out in full. In yellow gold, the bezel is set with brilliant-cut diamonds in place of the fluting. The centre links of the bracelet are set with diamonds as well. It is worn on the President bracelet, made only for this model and for the Day-Date’s closest relations, with a concealed Crownclasp. Calibre 3255 sits inside with about seventy hours in reserve.
