On this Rolex Day-Date 36, a diamond-set bezel rings a green ombré dial with Roman numerals, and 18 ct yellow gold forms the case and a plain President bracelet. Its shading is lightest beneath the hands and darkest at the rim, giving the green a depth that a flat color would lack. Yellow gold warms the whole palette, and because the bracelet carries no gems, the diamonds stay close to the dial they frame. Roman numerals add structure without competing with the stones. Calibre 3255 is fitted with a Chronergy escapement and stores roughly 70 hours of power, and the monobloc middle case is sealed from behind by a screw-down case back. A window at the top gives the day by name, with the date at 3. A concealed Crownclasp lets the gold of this Rolex Day-Date 36 run uninterrupted around the wrist.
